A collaborative effort of artists with and without experiences with a psychiatric state of ‚Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder' that resulted in an interactive multimediainstallation, which captures the dramaturgy of an compulsive act in relation to pandemic contexts.
Modified sound-bass-frequencies react to people washing their hands in the sink, as well as synchronized light-sources, voice recordings and video-art. Thus, the likewise repetitive action of hand-washing in both contexts, the compulsive act and those of pandemic times are juxtaposed. The reference to a collective experience like the covid pandemic as well as the artistic abstraction of shared emotions makes the concept of compulsion understandable.
