Depersonalization refers to a state of self-alienation in which there is a loss or impairment of personality awareness. Affected personens experience themselves as strange or unreal and repeatedly or persistently as if they were an observer of their own person ot with the feeling of observing one's own life from the outside. The project is a search of hints of Depersonalization in personal family tapes, analysing the relations of direct and hidden faces . The installation takes the viewers themselves into the position of self-oberservation as they look into their own face through mine and interact with the hiding and exposing of an observational view throught the curtain.
